Sons of Peace Ministry

The Sons of Peace Ministry will meet on December 22, 2012 at 8:30am at the Denny's Restaurant located at 17th St. and Bladensburg, Rd, NE intersection for a fellowship breakfast. The discussion subject will be "Generational Differences and Life Experiences." All men are encouraged to attend to share their experiences. For information please contact: Deacons H. T. It’s That Time of the Year !!!

The Health Ministry along with the National Kidney Foundation have planned another Kidney Health Screening just for you. This event will take place on Saturday, February 9, 2013 form 10:00am-2:00pm. Missionary Ministry Projects

The Missionary Ministry announces a church-wide effort to collect cd-players, cassette players and boom boxes. These items will be collected by the Missionaries until December 12, 2012, for our Nursing Homes residents and some Sick and Shut In members who do not have access to any equipment , but would love to listen to sermons and music.

Due to an overwhelming request for food, the Missionary Ministry is asking that you continue to donate to help us re-stock the food pantry. Donate non-perishable food item(s), such as low-sodium canned goods, beans, canola oil, rice, tuna, etc., with non-expired use date. Whenever possible, we ask that you or your Ministry purchase a share food basket. Thanking you in advance for your participation.
